Angela Longhorn explores nature’s shapes and colours through collage, paint and stitch — building texture from found and up-cycled materials, informed by her creative work alongside adults with special needs.
About
My work explores nature’s shapes and colours through an abstract and layered approach. I collage, paint and stitch, building texture and depth with found and up-cycled materials, embracing the beauty of upcycling and transformation. Each piece evolves through process and intuition, celebrating the beauty of unexpected combinations.
A significant part of my creative practice involves working alongside adults with special needs, including my daughter. These shared creative experiences inform and enrich my practice, reinforcing the value of connection, inclusion, and creativity in an inclusive space.
