About
Jo Rankin paints richly textured botanical and floral works — tangled leaves and stems against dark, dramatic grounds, and loose, impressionistic blooms in warm, saturated colour. Her studio wall of framed work spans florals, landscapes and abstracts across oil and mixed media.
Jo was a qualified interior designer in Auckland. Her passion for colour and design led her to follow her dream of becoming a full-time contemporary/abstract artist in Taupō.
